Tai Chi: Moving for Better Balance is an evidence-based practice developed by Dr. Fuzhong Li at the Oregon Research Institute utilizing the 24-form Yang style. This low-impact approach places an emphasis on improved balance supporting everyday movement. Gain confidence, stability, strength, and mobility in a fun and supportive environment.
This introductory class welcomes those wishing to learn the initial 12 forms of the practice.
RECOMMENDED LEVEL (learn more): Beginner
Participants should be able to walk easily with or without assistive devices.
SCHEDULE: In-Person (POIC - Albina One), Tuesdays, 5:30-6:15 p.m. PT
REGISTRATION: First time participants are required to register. You will receive an automated email confirmation with helpful information about attending class in-person.
LOCATION: Our Qigong classes will be taught in the large community room.
