I WILL: Practice Mindfulness
Learning how to let go of everyday stress doesn’t just make you feel better; it can help you live a longer, more satisfied life. If you’re ready to make a change, a classes that walk you through various forms of relaxation or meditation and teach on mindfulness practices are a great start. You’ll learn mindfulness techniques that you can use every day to relax your body and mind. One such class is Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR); participants not only reduced their stress and anxiety levels, they also experienced a decrease in their blood pressure and even lost weight. MBSR doesn’t require a huge commitment, and the results are more than worth the effort.
