One of the best healthy lifestyle behaviors to support heart health is to stop the use of nicotine products such as smoking, chewing, and vaping.
It’s no secret that nicotine use is bad for your health, but quitting can be easier said than done. When you’re ready to live a nicotine-free life, Providence is here to help.
Our Providence Nicotine Cessation 8-week series utilizes a small group virtual setting aimed at creating a supportive community with others on a similar path to quitting nicotine: smoking, chewing, or vaping.
We know that everyone is different, and the approach to this life-changing decision should be reflective. Our certified instructor assists in creating a personalized plan that is purposeful and meaningful to each individual participant. Success in quitting will also be unique to each individual. Completion of this 8-week series is a great first step to help establish reachable milestones that ultimately result in reaching the goal of stopping the use of nicotine products. Plus, we will continue to be right alongside you following completion of this series as you engage further with our free and supportive classes and programs.
With quitting nicotine having such a tremendous impact on your heart health, Basecamp Prevention + Wellness, part of the Providence Heart Institute, is proud to offer this opportunity at no cost to everyone, everywhere. We believe in the power of feeling well, and that starts with having access — without burden — to the resources supporting healthy lifestyle behaviors.
PROVIDENCE NICOTINE CESSATION SERIES powered by Basecamp offers multiple virtual sessions throughout the year — approximately once each quarter.
As this series focuses on the steps to living a nicotine-free life, participation in our series is reserved for individuals currently using nicotine products (smoking, vaping, or chewing) and who have a sincere desire to quit. This series is not intended for individuals seeking to support others, non-nicotine users, or those seeking to offer future nicotine education resources.
