About

Each year we offer two events focused on education and connection around women’s health and wellness. Dr. Lori Tam, medical director, women’s heart wellness, Providence Heart Institute, hosts colleagues and industry experts on topics relatable to women of all adult ages. The information shared is meant to help guide, support, and encourage women to seek the education and resources — as well as take the next steps — to living their best, healthiest lives.

Topics generally focus on healthy behaviors and how they support women through the many experiences across the lifespan, how those experiences may increase risk factors, preventative steps to help lower risks, as well as opportunities for social engagement through conversation and activities with our experts and attendees.

When registration is open for one of our two annual events, more information and the registration form will be shown below.

Annual Events

  • February: Women’s Wellness Panel with a variety of expert voices supporting the key health factors women experience. A Q&A session is available at the end of the panel conversation. These events are offered via live broadcast to reach everyone, everywhere, with an in-person opportunity held at our West Portland location.

  • October: Women’s Wellness Workshop includes a keynote presentation on a relevant women’s health and wellness topic. Attendees spend a Saturday morning choosing their own adventure with a variety of breakout sessions led by expert voices supporting healthy lifestyle behaviors and preventative health education. Activities may include live cooking demonstrations, community service projects, as well as movement and breath work sessions. These events are offered in-person and are held at our West Portland location.
