RETHINK MY PROTEINS
Heart-healthy proteins come from a variety of foods – fish, chicken, legumes, nuts, and eggs.
Adding a good source of protein to your breakfast is a great way to begin the day. Try these heart-healthy breakfast protein options:
Eggs (limit yourself to 1 full egg per day, or seven per week)
Greek yogurt (choose reduced fat with minimal added sugars)
Nuts, seeds, or nut butters (avoid those with added palm oil)
