Mindful Wellness is by invitation for graduates of our Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Wellness is for Everyone, and the Practice of Loving Kindness series classes.
This quarterly alumni conversation is a collaboration between our two expert instructors from their respective series classes, Carole (MBSR, Practice of Loving Kindness) and Jenn (Wellness is for Everyone), where they will place the Wellness Wheel at the foundation of their conversations.
The wheel is divided into four quadrants, where two touch upon physical health and two on spiritual health. Our experts are able to pair their experience together for these sessions where we will rotate a focus on physical health support/education/tips and tools and then a focus on spiritual support/education/tips and tools. While alumni from either class will benefit from refreshers on what they’ve learned in the individual series, they are also exposed to and encouraged to take the other series to balance out their wellness approach.
Each quarterly event is scheduled for approximately 30-minutes where participants will hear a welcome, have the opportunity to share, and be introduced to a topic and tool to use in their practice. We conclude with a short meditation or wellness activity.

Topic: Lower left quadrant: creativity & fun, environment and nature, spirituality. Jenn will discuss the benefits of these pieces to overall wellness and engage attendees in a quick art therapy activity, Zentangles. Participants only need a piece of paper and pen/pencil but can bring extra markers, colored pens/pencils, crayons, etc if they'd like.
