Start Small: Control your dinner portions by using a smaller plate (8” or less is best).
Finish Remarkable: Think outside the plate! Balance your meals and snacks by using the 1/2, 1/4, /14 rule.
Having balance isn’t limited to steady feet. It applies to your meal plate too! A balanced meal plate is important for optimal heart health. The 1/2, 1/4, 1/4 rule: half your plate is veggies + fruit, one quarter is lean protein, one quarter is grains/starches.
