FIT Basics

The FIT Project offers free family lifestyle training programs to help families become their healthiest through a community approach to wellness, fitness and nutrition education. 

FIT Basics invites families to join us on a Saturday morning for an online workshop aimed at providing you with important tools to help your family begin, or continue, a sustainable healthy lifestyle. A quick 90-minute session where we target our three main areas: nutrition, fitness and wellness. Families will hear from our program experts and be invited to complete activities as a family unit. We’re confident this workshop will be entertaining, fun, educational and draw the attention of even the wiggliest family members.

Target audience: Families with school-aged children

Instructors: The FIT Project experts - certified wellness coach, certified personal trainer, registered dietitian and a physician medical director
