Mat Pilates Basics

Our limited series introduces the practice of Mat Pilates for those new or who want a refresher on the foundational basics of form and sequence. Keeping the sequences simple and focused allows time for questions and feedback at a slower pace. What you will learn: difference in the spine and hip alignment, breath and engagement of the core, articulation of the spine and control, and a basic mat Pilates sequence.

RECOMMENDED LEVEL: Beginner

SCHEDULE: Virtual, Tues/Thurs 9:30-10:15a

SPECIAL SESSION: 4-week rotation that restarts at the beginning of each month

SPECIAL CLASS NOTES: Modifications available for those with limited mobility. Must be able to safely move between standing and floor work. Some use of props will be used for added resistance and support. 

NOTE: No equipment is needed, just a mat.

FREE CLASS: Registration is requested for first-time participants so that we can collect your waiver release. Once registered, you will receive an email with the access links to use for the balance of 2022.
