This Month’s Topic: Nutrition 101: Starches + Grains

Supporting our nutrition goals requires a general knowledge on many key components related to our food choices and methods, as well as how these choices impact the daily nutritional values needed to support a healthy body. As a sustainable nutrition approach, let's open our minds each month to the most important knowledge points for a variety of nutritional components.

Whole grains and starches round out a balanced meal, but it's important to know which foods are best and provide the most nutritional benefit. Increasing your knowledge around these foods can elevate your meal planning and recipes to include key vitamins and minerals, as well as understanding how various starches and grains impact your body.

SCHEDULE: Online, Second Wednesday of the month 12:00-12:30 p.m. PT
