In the Kitchen: Nutrition Education

Learn it. See it. Do it. with our monthly nutrition series.

This Month’s Topic: Helpful Tips When Dining Out

Supporting a balanced approach to your daily nutrition starts with understanding the essential principles of food choices and cooking methods. This knowledge empowers you to create a sustainable – and enjoyable – relationship with food. Each month, we explore a nutrition-centered topic to give you confidence when meal planning, reading recipes and labels, and when preparing your snacks and meals.

Eating healthy doesn’t have to stop when you’re at a restaurant! Discover practical tips for making smart choices while dining out – like scanning the menu for nutritious options, watching portion sizes, and customizing your order. With a little planning, you can enjoy your meal and stay aligned with your nutrition goals wherever you go.
