Your heartbeat is measured by its rate and rhythm - at times, the heart may skip a beat or develop a new rhythm that can be short-lived or even permanent. It’s estimated that more than 4 million Americans live with some form of abnormal heart rhythm, also called an arrhythmia. Learn how age, genetics, and other risk factors can play a role. We will also discuss the benefits of a healthy lifestyle as well as ways to manage having an arrhythmia. Everyone benefits from understanding the heart a little better.
