Providence Heart Institute’s Play Smart youth heart screening events are available by appointment. Screenings are free for all youth ages 12-18 and are currently held at the Providence St. Vincent Medical Center and the Providence Portland Medical Center campuses. Our heart screenings offer a baseline electrocardiogram (ECG) and should not be used for evaluation of current symptoms or a known diagnosis. If the participant is experiencing symptoms or needs a return to play clearance for school or an athletic club, please contact your primary care provider.
