Tai Chi Beginners

Develop strength and balance in Tai Chi: Moving for Better Balance. You will gain confidence, stability and improve coordination and mobility in a fun and supportive environment. Resistance training is included to improve strength. This program is based on the evidence-based program, developed by Dr. Fuzhong Li at the Oregon Research Institute, designed for older adults and people with balance disorders, who can walk easily with or without assistive devices.

RECOMMENDED LEVEL: Beginners

SCHEDULE: Virtual, Tuesdays/ Thursdays, 9:00 - 10:00 a.m.

FREE CLASS: Once registered, you will receive an email with the access links for the balance of 2022. A 4-week rotation offering an introduction to the practice; restarts the beginning of each month. Participants can stay in the class as long as they’d like or revisit for a refresher when needed.
