A wonderful chair-based yoga practice for those who prefer to stretch and move their bodies while staying off the floor. Classes combine gentle movement and intentional breath in both seated and standing poses. This practice includes a combination of energizing, strengthening, stretching, and relaxing to support balance and calm in both body and mind.
RECOMMENDED LEVEL (learn more): Beginner, Intermediate
CLASS NOTE: A sturdy chair without arm rests or wheels is the best choice when participating from home. At times, movements may include standing and using the chair as support for balance, you may choose to remain seated for the entire practice and modify as needed.
REGISTRATION: First time participants are required to register. You will receive an automated email confirmation with either the online access link or helpful information about attending class in-person.
LOCATION (Get to know our locations.): Our Chair Yoga classes are available as live taught, virtual classes and in-person (Portland, OR) at our two studio locations. You can choose which option works best for you or do a blend of both!
