Good Morning Hot Cereal

Prep Time: 10 mins | Cook Time: 15 mins | Serves: 4

Ingredients

  • 1 ¾ cups water

  • 1 c quinoa

  • 2 Tbsp ground flax seeds

  • ½ c almond milk

  • 2 bananas, sliced

  • 2 c blueberries

  • 1 Tbsp maple syrup

  • ½ c chopped almonds or walnuts

Directions

  1. Soak quinoa then drain. Bring water, quinoa, and flax seeds to a boil. Cover and simmer on low about 10-15 minutes, until water is absorbed. Stir in almond milk and maple syrup.

  2. Serve topped with bananas, blueberries, and nuts.

  • Mix and match your favorite fruits, nuts, and seeds for variety.
