Spring Pasta

Prep Time: 10 mins | Cook Time: 15 mins | Serves: 4
Ingredients
1 bag whole wheat penne pasta
5 asparagus spears, trimmed and sliced
1 c chopped greens (swiss chard, spinach, kale, etc.)
1 shallot, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
¼ c peas
¼ c parmesan cheese
1 lemon, juiced and zested
Directions
Cook pasta in boiling, lightly salted, water for approximately 8-10 minutes.
Sauté garlic and shallots in large sauté pan.
Add asparagus and greens. Sauté for a couple of minutes. Then add peas.
Add in cooked pasta.
Add lemon and parmesan cheese.
Toss altogether.
