I WILL: Make a Pinky Swear
Make a commitment with yourself, for your heart health.
A promise to yourself should be the deepest promise you’ll ever make; interlocking your fingers in a gesture to say you are worthy of your time and space. What you do with this time and space is as personal as the initial commitment and will look different for everyone.
Your heart heath commitment should reflect an area of your personal health and wellness where you’d like to improve. What that is and how you determine when you’ve met your commitment is again, a personal decision. How you go about supporting a larger goal with smaller steps around movement, nutrition, or wellbeing is where we can get involved in sharing a year filled with ideas, resources, and encouragement.
Start Small: Take the small step today and complete an I WILL Commitment.
Finish Remarkable: Renew your pinky swear every year with a new goal and area of focus supporting your 80% Opportunity. While you’re at it, invite a friend, family member, colleague, or partner to share the adventure with you. Let’s work together to curb the prevalence of heart disease in our communities, currently the leading cause of death within the United States.
