Take a moment to think with your heart and add a splash of color to our world! Coloring is a healthy way to relieve stress. It calms the brain allowing your body to relax. Coloring can ease depression and anxiety, provide a distraction, boost your ability to meditate or practice mindfulness and even help you sleep better.
An idea for those outside the Portland, OR area: Set aside a few minutes to color today or throughout the month. Make it a space with few distractions and enjoy the mindful moment of letting your creativity lead the way. Make something great for yourself or maybe a card or drawing for someone else.
Local to Portland? We invite you to color with us and participate in our community-perfected art display.
Join us throughout the month as we blend the mindful meditation of coloring with wonderful pieces of art planned to be displayed on the PSVMC campus. Stop by during our scheduled coloring sessions for a minute or two, or five.
