Notes
This recipe makes ~3 Tbs of taco seasoning, similar to the amount you’d find in a premade seasoning packet. Use 1-2 Tbs of taco seasoning for every one pound of meat, adding a bit of water to make for a saucier consistency if you prefer.
As this recipe is salt free, you may want to add salt to taste when cooking.
Add cayenne powder for a spicier kick or add lime powder for a punchy, tart pop of flavor.
Consider doubling or tripling this recipe to make a larger batch if you frequently use these flavors in your cooking.
Use this warm, earthy seasoning blend to taco meat, burritos, enchiladas, casseroles, soups, roasted veggies, or creamy dips.
