Black Bean Burgers

Prep Time: 15 mins | Cook Time: 20 mins | Serves: 4
Ingredients
1 (15 ounce) cans black beans, rinsed and dried
½ bell pepper, grated
½ yellow onion, grated
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp chili powder
¼ tsp smoked paprika
½ to 1 c whole wheat breadcrumbs
1 egg
Salt and pepper to taste
Desired toppings: lettuce, tomato, etc.
4 whole wheat buns
Directions
Mash black beans in a mixing bowl with fork.
Mix in remaining ingredients.
Form into 4 even patties.
Bake, pan-fry, or grill to serve.
Build burger and enjoy!
