Wellness is for Everyone!
Let’s re-frame the word “wellness” so that it is inclusive to every single individual wanting to live their best, healthiest life - no matter their age, current health status, race, or economic status. Let’s make wellness available and attainable for everyone.
Wellness will look a bit different to each individual. There is not a single path to wellness that fits everyone. We encourage you to live your own wellness journey. And, we will be right alongside you for support.
This six-week interactive wellness series is meant to meet you where you are. We will open your mind to the concept of wellness and teach how you can take the pieces most important for you and build upon them. This series will help you explore a well-balanced wellness plan, we like to call it the Wellness Wheel, where we will discuss wellness frameworks, play with wellness activities and set specific goals to be successful from day one.
Most importantly, you will find, and build, the strength within yourself to help navigate your personal wellness journey.
SCHEDULE: Online, Wednesdays, Sept. 4 - Oct. 9 p.m. PT, 6-week series.
FREE CLASS: Registration requested for first time participants so that we can share resources and communications from your instructor. Once registered, you will receive an automated email confirmation with the online access link. The class link will remain the same for the duration of the series.
INSTRUCTOR: Jennifer Lundman, MSW, NBC-HWC
Jennifer is a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach with a background in social work and behavioral health. She has worked with Providence for three years serving as the Certified Wellness Coach for the Providence Heart Institute’s prevention + wellness program, The FIT Project. She also serves as a Lifestyle Medicine Provider with the American College of Lifestyle Medicine. Jennifer’s education, experience and passion for wellness has been derived from her own personal health journey as well as over 20 years working with individuals and families seeking to make lifestyle changes.

Cultivating the Heart Qualities
A drop of kindness creates rings of subsequent kindness. Be the drop, create the ripple.
Meeting uncertainty with the qualities of Loving Kindness, Compassion, Joy, and Equanimity.
These four qualities, called the Brahmaviharas in Pali, arise from traditional Buddhist practices that were taught more than 2500 years ago. They were used as tools to cultivate a mind and heart of ease and wellbeing that benefited not only oneself but all beings. Today, contemporary research studies are showing that practicing these qualities on a daily basis, “increases one’s positive emotions and one’s degree of satisfaction with existence. The subjects feel more joy, kindness, gratitude, hope and enthusiasm, and the longer their training was, the more marked were the positive effects.” – Journal of Personality and Social Psychology
Imagine what it would be like if we all adopted and embodied this attitude in how we think, speak and act toward ourselves and others.
We will meet once a month to study and reflect on the practice that we’re developing that month. In December, we’ll begin exploring and practicing with loving kindness. Each week throughout the month, written material, including audio links on the month’s topic will be sent to you to support your exploration and development of that particular quality.
In order to fully realize the benefits of these practices, it is encouraged that participants make a commitment to practice these teachings and meditations 30 minutes daily.
Supporting your practice:
Participants will receive a monthly packet via email.
It is highly recommended that you purchase the book, Loving Kindness, the Revolutionary Art of Happiness by Sharon Salzberg.

SCHEDULE: Online, Wednesdays, Feb. 7 - Mar. 20, 5:30-6:30 p.m. PT, 6-week series. Please note, we will not have class on Mar. 6.
FREE CLASS: Registration requested for first time participants so that we can share resources and communications from your instructor. Once registered, you will receive an automated email confirmation with the online access link. The class link will remain the same for the duration of the series.

Mindful Wellness (by invitation)
Mindful Wellness is by invitation for graduates of our Cultivating the Heart Qualities, Mindful Practices, or Wellness is for Everyone programs.
This quarterly alumni conversation is hosted by our certified health and wellness coach, Jenn; a familiar face to some and a great introduction for those joining from our other wellbeing-centered programs.
This is an opportunity to center yourself around the practices learned through your participation while also supporting yourself through conversation with others on a similar path. At the start of each conversation, Jenn plants a seed of thought to help guide sharing amongst yourselves. You can join to observe and collect inspiration or choose to participate in the conversation, that’s up to you.
Are you a graduate of at least one of our wellbeing programs and want to make sure you are added to our invitation list? Please let us know!

Mindful Movement
Learning how to move with care, while also building strength and flexibility, is paramount in any healing or wellness journey. Over the course of the six weeks, you will follow guided mindful movement practices to explore muscular stability, joint range of motion, and more subtle exercises of breath awareness and mindful meditation. Each session also follows an arc of centering, movement, and intentional rest. All practices are taught from a chair with options to move to the wall as you progress in feeling stronger and more supported within your body.
As shared, this is a six-week series offering a total of twelve 20-30-minute sessions. Each week you will receive an email containing two sessions with a recommendation of a couple of days rest between each session. For example, you may choose a Monday/Thursday or a Tuesday/Friday schedule for yourself or perhaps an alternative that fits your schedule,
Our goal for you is to help you build confidence in your movement while allowing for self-compassion and acceptance on where you are in your healing, range of motion, and overall personal journey. Upon completion of this series, we will extend an invitation to revisit the videos shared during this series along with suggestions for other practices that may support your next step.
